RE Garrison

Founded in 1959 by Roy E. Garrison — a World War II veteran who served under Gen. George S. Patton — R.E. Garrison Trucking, Inc. started as a one-truck operation hauling poultry to the West Coast and bringing fresh produce back to the Southeast. Roy built the company on three principles that still hold today: hard work, honesty, and fair play. In 1996, Wyles Griffith and Donovon Lovell purchased the company and kept the name exactly as Mr. Garrison had put it on his first truck. In 2019, R.E. Garrison became employee-owned through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) — meaning every driver and team member has a real stake in the company''s success. Today, R.E. Garrison operates 800 tractors, 1,500 refrigerated trailers, and 1,100+ drivers across all 48 contiguous states, making it one of Alabama''s largest trucking companies.
